Assist with updating the monthly, quarterly and annual variance analysis compared to Forecast, Budget, and Prior Year, both consolidated and by budget centers.
Assist in the monthly rolling reforecast, including extracting accurate data in a timely manner to TM1 for COE consolidated reporting.
Assist in the preparation of the monthly Close and Forecast Package, including printing the monthly financial folders and net posting reports.
Assist in the monthly cash flow forecast and balance sheet update to reflect accurate use/source of cash.
Assist in the annual Budgeting and LRP process, including strategic business plans and other supporting schedules.
Preparation of journal entries to Accounting for the West Coast and review of best accounting practice at both locations.
Assist in the preparation of the annual Capital Expenditures Budget, monthly CapEx Forecasting, ROI Analysis and CPR tracking.
Accounts Receivable and Billing:
Back-up for Scheduling Coordinator, including actualizing billable work orders, ensuring time cards and schedules are approved by managers and reported in MediaPulse or Workforce accurately.
Actualize billable work orders in preparation for invoicing to the clients.
Follow-up on Account Receivable aging balances with a goal to not have any 90+ balances.
Collaborate across departments to ensure outstanding issues are resolved in a timely manner to keep the DSO number low.
Assist with the billing and rate card analysis for the West Coast businesses.
Rate Card Update:
Collect from department leaders annually rate card price changes, format changes or other relevant rate change to remain competitive.
Compile all recommendations for rate changes for management review. Including overall profitability of the business.
Assist in evaluating the Rate Card on a continuing basis throughout the year to remain competitive and on target in achieving Forecast/Budget.
Account Payable, Payroll & Other:
Create Requisitions in Oracle, as needed, and follow-up on open and un-invoiced pending POs.
Assist with updating accurate headcount data in TM1 for payroll reporting.
Minimum 7 years in a Financial Planning & Analysis role.
4-year degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college.
Experience with Oracle and/or TM1 Financial System preferred.* Must possess strong accounting skills and very detailed-oriented.
High mathematical, technical, and analytical skills required.
Advanced Excel knowledge including financial analysis & modeling.
Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, under minimal supervision, while effectively meeting extremely tight deadlines.
Ability to prioritize assignments and projects with high sense of urgency.
Ability to work overtime, as required/ needed.
